Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to browse the menu, find a restaurant and order, including with a screen reader, the keyboard alone, zoom or a slow connection.
Our target is level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, the standard referenced by the European standard EN 301 549.
Where we are
The site was designed and built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. The full review is in progress: until it is complete we declare the site partially conformant, because of the limitations listed below.
What we have built in
- Keyboard: every link, button, menu and form works without a mouse, in a logical order; the “Skip to content” link jumps past the navigation.
- Visible focus: the active element is always highlighted with a clearly visible outline.
- Contrast: text and colours meet AA contrast ratios, on both the dark and the light background.
- Reduced motion: if your device is set to “reduce motion”, animations stop and you see the final picture straight away; looping videos and animations have a pause button.
- Images: product photos have alternative text; decorative illustrations are hidden from screen readers.
- Video: the site’s videos have no audio, start muted and carry no information that is not also written on the page.
- Forms: every field has its own label; errors are explained in words next to the field and announced to screen readers.
- Structure: one main heading per page, headings in order, page language declared (Italian or English).
- Mobile: the site is designed for phones first, with touch targets of at least 44 pixels and no sideways scrolling; you can zoom to 200% without losing content.
Known limitations
Some parts are not fully in our hands or are still being checked. Each has an alternative:
- Google map of our restaurants: the interactive map is not fully usable with a keyboard and screen reader. Alternative: the list of restaurants with address, opening hours, phone and a “Directions” link.
- Stripe payment form: it is an external service embedded in the page; its accessibility depends on Stripe. Alternative: you can choose to pay at the counter.
- Photos and videos from our social media: some images and clips from Instagram and Facebook have generic descriptions, and some videos contain on-screen text that is not yet transcribed.
- Full review: checks with automated tools and screen readers across all pages are in progress; we will update this page with the results.
Report a problem
If something does not work or you cannot use part of the site, write to info@kebabberiagroup.com with the subject “Accessibility”. If you can, tell us the page, what you were doing, and the device or software you use (for example your screen reader).
We reply within 5 working days. If you need to order right away, call the restaurant: the staff take orders by phone or at the counter.
How we handle feedback
- We read every report and confirm that we have received it.
- If the problem is ours, we fix it as soon as possible, normally within 30 days, and let you know when it is solved.
- If it cannot be fixed right away, we give you another way to get the same information or service.
- If the problem affects others too, we add it and its solution to this page.
Compatibility
The site is designed for the latest two versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on computers and phones, and for the VoiceOver (iOS and macOS), TalkBack (Android) and NVDA (Windows) screen readers.
How we prepared this statement
This statement was prepared on 29 September 2026, based on a self-assessment by the team that built the site: automated tests (axe, Lighthouse) and checks with the keyboard alone, zoom and reduced motion. We review it at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
